FFS. The Times is up to it now. Swallowed the Farage framing, lock, stock and barrel.

For their information, black people are seven times more likely to die in police custody in the UK.

And here we are. Even the BBC are spouting Farage's bollocks. It's not journalism just to repeat claims by a racist.

A private school in Exeter that's been there for 156 years is closing. The BBC report said:

"In a letter to parents that has been seen by the BBC, the school, for children aged between three and 16, said it had been "a place of growth, community, and learning" for 156 years and was closing "with a heavy heart and deep regret". It said one "primary factor" had led to the "devastating outcome" of having to announce its closure - "a significant and unsustainable increase in our premises' rent by our landlords, St Wilfrid's Trust".

Later in the report, it said "the school has 41 pupils, with capacity for 125."

Listening to Radio 1 last night and the first news item was all about so called 'two tier' policing as though it is a thing, leading with Chris Philp going on about it FFS. Unsurprisingly news at 10 yesterday led with Chris Mason going on about the police chief apologising for the officers behaviour. Not a single mention of the violence in Southampton or Farage's comments.

Interestingly, none of the media outlets refer to Stephen Lawrence, stop and search of black men and the countless other examples of institutional racism over the decades when they talk about 'two tier' policing.

Why are they pushing this horseshit on straplines then?

Because there is a debate outside the NCAP bubble.
The conclusion of the debate is that they are not anti-white, but the current police guideliness are poorly written.

I have literally heard Stephen Lawrence mentioned in most reports.

Of course there is always going to be a debate over policing (and there should be), but repeating opportunistic the claims of racists and xenophobes about policing being anti-white isn't 'debate', it's just repeating the unsubstantiated claims of racists and xenophobes. It wasn't that long ago that Farage was railing about Polish people in the UK. Now, all of a sudden, here's supposedly concerned for their welfare.

Have you actually bothered to watch or read any of these reports rather than come to your conclusion based on a headline?

Wow, not a single mention of VAT.

Without knowing the background, if a school is at 30% capacity, could that be more of a problem than rent? And why is it at 30% capacity?

I would suggest too many music teachers are leaving the profession.

Are you saying that I shouldn't criticise horseshit like this if I haven't watched the video? (Let's overlook the apostrophe misuse.)

At it's most basic, *this* is not a debate, this (are UK police anti-white?) is Farage horseshit. As is the suggestion that the protests are over the treatment of a Polish person. No, they are neo-nazi-led riots instigated by Farage.

The only accurate bit of the headline is that Nowak had been handcuffed after he'd been stabbed and lay dying.
