Maybe he's just not had enough testosterone boosters yet.

On a serious note, there's going to be at least a generation of US males who are going to end up with body dysmorphia and other psychological hang-ups because of all this 'male self image' focus on bulging muscles (which are redundant for pretty much everything except posing in front of mirrors and cameras) and clothes that are several sizes too small. It's bizarre.

Even if I were, I wouldn't be trying to compete with Andrew Tate in physiology or dress sense.

Perhaps the US gumment will hang these guys out to dry "Look how, we're dealing with rapists and sex offenders...". Maybe the staunch god fearing Republicans (riddled with hypocricy) will cast them aside. Who knows.

Even as a not-football follower, this is worth a watch.

Yep, I could see it when I walked the dogs last night. There's a fire on the Blorenge just outside Abergavenny (for cyclists, the hill The Tumble goes up). I'm about 15 miles away and could smell the smoke. Doesn't seem to have got much reporting though.

Weird why it's not really being reported. Can't find much online at all.

Even the local media seems quite sketchy. Some reports saying the Blorenge, others that it is nearby Varteg / Cwmavon area so not sure if there is more than one. If this is correct then it is a huge fire (covering 80 hectares) https://www.abergavennychronicle.co...smoke-seen-from-as-far-away-as-cardiff-929314 Meanwhile a small fire on Arthur's Seat is getting national coverage, presumably as it is so close to the city.

@Blazing Saddles is pretty nearby so may know more.

Do you think he's the culprit, given his name?

Top Trumps: my local French 4,400ha fire wins. The only consolation is that it was caused by a lightning strike, not human idiocy (other than screwing up the climate for a quick buck). It showed how very quickly things spread if not tackled hard and fast, and once they are fighting a huge front, it becomes a task of protecting strategic places (habitations, transport links) rather than being able to stop the spread. In the end a decent downpour made the task much easier, as the fire services could focus on just a few of the worst places, while it gave time for forest management to cut/burn/plough firebreaks and create access tracks for fire engines.
