Can the (Met) police ever change?

What's she done wrong, how is she resisting, how is she trying to escape, would you be happy if that was your daughter?

I don't know what she's done wrong, do you?

I assume by her saying "I'm not allowed into London anymore " that there's some kind of restraining order on her and the copper is enforcing it?

She openly admits she's committed crimes previously so I guess he's just doing his job, as for it being my Daughter if this was the first time she's just 'stood on the embankment ' then I would think it was uncalled for.

It doesn't appear to be the case here though, does anyone know this person's history?

Seems she's been arrested on a number of occasions and charged with criminal damage too so I would guess she's being held onto prior to being escorted to wherever the boundary of her restraining order is, probably not that unreasonable given the facts.

Why let that get in the way of a Police bashing opportunity though eh?

She is surrounded by officers, entirely non-violent, and not attempting to pull away or leave, so why the prolonged touching? It’s looks like yet another unnecessary and frankly weird attempt to physically dominate a young woman. I think that should trouble us all.

Given the record of the police around women it looks particularly unnecessary.

You'd think given their reputation currently being on the floor, that the Met would be working hard to rebuild trust.
Particularly with women.

I wasn't 'touched' but I certainly felt backed into a corner when two Met guys questioned me up close in central London a few weeks back.

I wasn't doing anything beyond looking at my phone for directions.

They need to think a lot harder about their behaviour around women.

Well, many men need to do that in general, of course but especially those who have supposed authority over us.

A breach of bail conditions doesn’t explain or excuse the weirdness in the clip.

I don't pay too much attention to his 'thoughts' on all this.

The police - not only the Met - have repeatedly demonstrated that they are not to be trusted around women.

Particularly not around vulnerable women.

I'm sure someone - maybe you ??
Will find some way of making that the fault of the women themselves
