Nope. I fundamentally disagree with their imprisonment and with the act of parliament that made it a custodial offence. This was enacted by the previous government and is an infringement of civil liberties.

I think we are in violent agreement on this one!

A lot of this AI stuff is all a bit of a laugh (and some lines in that article did make me laugh!);
but there's a serious problem here when you look at the crazy carbon footprint of all this AI. (as if useless stuff we do on the internet wasn't already wasteful enough):

Google are looking at nuclear reactors for their datacentres:

I think I saw Microsoft have already rented Three Mile Island (yes, that one) to power their AI. www.bisnow.com/national/news/data-center/three-mile-island-to-be-reactivated-in-plan-to-feed-power-hungry-data-centers-125986

Never mind AI mining humanity for resources like that article says: tech barons will hand over our resources willingly! Never mind the water and energy being needed more elsewhere.

We needn't worry. We merely slice them and their super-yachts to shreds with miracle nano-fibres invented by a pouty super-model.
I saw it on the telly. Sorted.
