Greens to vote on legalising heroin to make society more inclusive
Party activists draft motion calling for an end to the ‘prohibition of drugs
It's been a Green party policy for some time and if you learn to read, you'd see that it's actually quite a sensible policy.
Obviously your jizztastic pop headline misses quite a lot of nuance.

The Greens want to remove criminal penalties for possessing less than a weeks supply of a scheduled drug. It's very similar to what Portugal tried, which was very successful.

Isn't the issue whether or not he can articulate it?

Rory Stewart/Alisttair Campbell did a podcast episode interviewing him and they subsequently commented how they gave him a really "easy time" yet he made a complete fool of himself regarding the economy
Rory Stewart and Alistair Campbell? Pompous twerps subjecting Polanski to a pub quiz.
As far as I'm aware Rory Stewart hasn't exactly excelled in UK politics, despite his obvious belief he is a very clever person. Alistair Campbell - one of Blair's manipulators, wasn't he.

Tell me what the current laws are doing apart from driving users underground where they don't get treatment or support and are often victims of vicious gangs who make vast profits from illegal drugs.

Maybe making it more difficult for some to get hold of dangerous and addictive substances. Tell me how you think having easy access to these dangerous and addictive substances would be a good thing.

Do what Trump did. Secure the borders, take out boats that try and transport illegal drugs into your country.

Drug related issues in the USA are dramatically falling since he enforced these policies

Greens and yourself are pardon my French, Dickheads.

Nobody in their right might mind would condone the possession of hard core drugs as normal, no matter what level of stock they carried

Well quite. Makes youn onder whether some on here might be smoking stuff as well, and don't want to risk prosecution.

It doesn't seem to make it terribly difficult. It does make criminals of users, who then don't seek the help they need. Regulating supplies, cutting out the gangs, and treating addiction as an illness rather than a crime seems entirely logical.

You sound like newsome.

They spent billions of dollars on drug and homeless programs, just to make the problems worse.

The tough stance on drugs and end of open border has dramatically reduced drugs problems in California and many other states

You're an enabler.

But where's the fun in that? How would "decent citizens" then feel superior to all those "degenerates"?
