So, it's a shıt ideological political stunt, to appeal to the Liberal crackpots

Whose bright idea was it to go round banging on doors telling people not to buy Israeli goods? Are they keeping lists of those who won't comply? It would be very intimidating to some people.

Meanwhile in Gorton..

In Scotland the Greens eventually engineered their own downfall by conflating their core message with definitive and broadly far left positions on unrelated issues, inter alia gender identity, benefits, independence.

Even if the batshit crazy environmental concepts are not too impractical or expensive in someone's opinion, it seems self defeating to ahead of time exclude one or other of the sides of the debate in the Middle East.

Not being details oriented on things like names and whether or not the picture you've chosen is of the right place seems increasingly common. Only boomers get bogged down with that sort of thing, I'm told.

They're currently benefiting from the protest vote mentality in the same way as Reform.
When people say the big parties should be afraid of Zak Polanski ....

It is a bold pitch to attract leading members of Your Party, and unite the loony left.

I thought that Your Party was an attempt to unite the loony left. Don't think that one is going too well...

Were they actually 'banging' on doors or merely knocking them or ringing the doorbell?

Were they actually telling people not to buy Israel's goods or explaining their policy and why they thought it was the right thing to do?

I am sure you will agree that words are important.

I think saying they want an apartheid free zone is quite inflammatory. If they want to promote a policy of discouraging people to buy Israeli made and Israeli connected goods, I'm fine with that. I think going door to door to do so is a bad idea and a bit intimidating. It's really not the same as general electioneering.

So not "banging" on doors or "telling" people what they can or cannot do, but just politely (I hope) informing people of their policies.

Campaigning does not have to be limited to election time.

Gives the people they speak to the chance to ask questions and make an informed decision without the influence of a partisan mainstream media.

Personally I think the increase in Green Party membership & support is far more down to the failure of Labour than anything Mr Polanski is doing. I regard him as a weakness (Carla Denyer & Adrian Ward) were much better and Mr Polanski has made me question my intended support for the Party (subject to alternative choices come any election).
