Getting at the data is very straightforward. The challenge is knowing what questions to ask of the data and that needs the specialist knowledge and experience of tax & fraud investigations not IT.

I believe one of the DOGE staff came either 1st or 2nd is some hackathon competition. I would have thought these are the types who can think out of the box and develop solutions to problems, hidden data etc
