I wonder how recoverable it is. Some aspects anyway eg US policy is now to be allies with Russia and to reject Europe. Countries can do whatever they want EXCEPT Europe who have to do what US says (expel immigrants and move far right wing). And maybe Europe/UK will read the new "US National Security Strategy" and realise what has been going on for some time (and Starmer will have to find another ring to kiss).

Building trust takes time and such broken trust might not be repairable for many many years.
