Yeahbut that didn't happen because of an attitude to the French.

If you say so.

Isn't it time people accepted Brexit happened andstop trying to do the impossible and turn the clock back.You can't make Brexit unhappen.
What can be done is to campaign to rejoin. That would be a positive move and less divisive than insulting those who voted for Brexit and just inflaming the situation.

You are quite correct from a pragmatic perspective.
However it will not happen until it is acknowledged that Brexit was a massive fückup in the first place.

There you go again inflaming the situation.
It is irrelevant whether you think its good or bad. That does not change the position. We are where we are and we cannot go back and make the 2016 vote unhappen

What matters is the future, you cannot change the past and your attempts to insult and try to prove you were right or wrong about the past is irrelevant.

We are where we are - you can't change where we are now. You can change the future, but insulting those who have a differing view in the past is not going to help. All you are doing is ensuing conflict, people will argue about a past decision that cannot be changed. The 20126 vote to leave the EU happened and that is a fact

The words attributed to St Francis of Assisi seem apt.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
when there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
Grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand,
to be loved as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying [to ourselves] that we are born to eternal life.”

But they are all gullible idiots so it's hard not to be insulting.

However it will not happen until it is acknowledged that Brexit was a massive fückup in the first place.
Which obviously implies that those who voted for it admit that they acted stupidly.
Note I don't ask them to admit to being stupid, although many no doubt are.
I still try to have hope for the human race, but since Trump was elected a second time it's a difficult task.

Inflaming the situation? You really do give me too much credit! 😂😂😂
We are where we are but you cannot fix a problem until you admit that you have a problem.

I have zero expectation of people admitting to stupidity. However, what happened was stupid.
Undoubtably.
I have hope but gave up on expectation long before Trump, as is well known.

You know what you are doing.

whether it was a mistake or not is irrelevant. What matters is the best option going forward.
too many people want to fight long lost battles and insult those who disagreed intead of moving forward and seeking to change the future
Carry on looking back and inflaming things, but in the meantime others will be plotting the future, which seems to be something you have no desire to be part of as you are too busy fighting long since lost battles.

Whether there is a problem or not is irrelevant. What matters is what is the best for the future

I think our disagreement stems from my thinking that those two sentences are incompatible.

Whether you think there is a problem or not is up tp you, it does not change the position we are in.Its rather sad you cannot let go your upset at a decision you cannot undo
it is stopping you from changing the future because you are so wrapped up in insulting those who 9 years ago disagreed with you
