The challenge it faces is that after Trump's steel tariffs other countries will need to find somewhere to sell their steel into ie dumping (given worldwide overproduction) and with big state subsidies in some countries eg China they need to safeguard their own manufacturing capacity, just like the UK has done by eg taking over steel works.
All they are doing is responding to the market disruption Trump has created.
With Copilot caveat. The UK's performance is fairly middling. Note Eurozone growth comes from southern European excluding Italy.
