Well fancy that, he hadn't thought it through, who would have believed it?

Rather reminds me a discussion with a coal miner (then) friend of mine, during the Miners Strike. He objected to "people" buying imported (Polish I think) coal, and, was not happy when I pointed out he drove a French Car, had a Russian Wrist Watch and almost every item of clothing he had on was imported.

Doomed to failure (assuming reverse Brexit is rejoin the EU) as what will be on the table will be much worse than what we had.
Concentrate on economic agreements instead.

I think that's probably true (and there's no way Glasman/Blue Labour would sanction it anyway), but I'm just interested by The Times carrying the opinion.

But it also suggests that it's still not just a topic for a random thread in a cycling forum, given that the relationship with the EU (assuming it survives current worldwide instabilities) will continue to affect the financial health of the UK, one way or another.

It's definitely true that people will keep talking about how it affects the financial health of the UK.
