Single sex spaces can still be single sex whatever the ruling, and course it won't change reality, but it may make things a bit more complicated. Whatever the outcome men aren't going to stop pushing for access to every one of women's single sex spaces and services, and women aren't going to stop fighting against that.

It just means the new birth certificate you get with your grc doesn't change anything in law. Your actual certificate from your birth will still be correct.

I don't mind the birth/death certificate with your chosen gender on thing, as long as the sex data is also accurately recorded. I don't mind the passport thing either as long as sex is also recorded on it. In pushing for access for men into all women's single sex stuff though transactivists have brought about a situation where the Gender Recognition Act conflicts with the Equality Act and it will lead to pressure to bin the GRA altogether.
