And what you took from women was their single sex spaces. Now they want them back.

I did no such thing. The UK ratified universal convention rights before I was even ''a twinkle in my old man's eye''.

Further to that, many women don't want what you've campaigned for.

If all facilities are withdrawn, there is only one ideology to blame for it.

You see how pragmatic the right wing normal folk are, proposing a third unisex option, not withdrawing all facilities
Where a third "option" already exists, it's for the disabled. You want a fourth option, possibly a fifth.

At some point you're going to see places that currently provide them, just give up providing them.

No just a unisex option to male, female, disabled.

Unless you want to cover the spectrum of genders, then you can bloody well pay for the infinite varieties 😁

Yeh, just keep the women's for the straight white pretty girls eh Randy? That way it provides a nice filtering system so the perverts know where to find 'em. A dead handy proposition to make if you happen to be one of the perverts. Just saying.

Women's single sex spaces do a pretty good job of 'filtering out the perverts'. Unisex spaces are more dangerous. Fortunately, having unisex spaces and single sex ones means those women who are happy to share can do so if they want. They aren't obliged to use women's facilities.

It's a sensible compromise but it's unacceptable to these men because there's no validation for trans identifying men in being in a unisex space. Only being in the Women's gives that.

I agree the system has been working. There evidence is in favour of that statement. It's ridiculous proposition to change it to something less safe.

They have single sex 'women only' train carriages in Japan and that works nicely.

So you agree having males in women's spaces whether TiMs or men is not a great idea for safety.

This is why women almost always will choose female only facilities

It makes sense. In the UK at least, a common complaint from women is that in packed carriages there are men who use the opportunity to carry out sexual assaults at the minor end of the scale. I've been touched on the tube often, you have to assume that it is accidental. On the other hand I've been in packed carriages and accidentally touched people in places that elsewhere would no be accepted.

The distinction here though is that I don't know that I've experienced such accidental touching from a trans person.

In the UK, service provider toilets are rarely rammed like tube train carriages in rush hour. Though obviously in settings like theatres they can peak. Usually the queues for the women's becomes longer than for the men's. Women often then use the men's toilets, because there is no alternative. It doesn't become the major issue of safety pretended.

I had to Google, but apparently there is no explicit law in Japan to prevent trans women from riding the women's carriages.

The bigger point is the convention right under Article 8 concerning privacy. The reason that people should be able to choose which loo suits them best is because their personal identity and medical history are private matters.

Segregation has a disturbing history.

It's for women's safety. Surprise surprise, men all over the world cause safety issues for women.

It must be dawning on you now, why barring men from all women's facilities, is such common sense, even an intellect like you can see it
