Mickle isn't pointing anything out, he made a casually sexist post which apparently is cool in your book.

Its astonishing that you cant see that transgenderism is inherently regressive and profoundly sexist. One of my FB friends wrote this today, and says it better than I ever could:

" There would have been none of this push back if you had continued to call yourself transsexual. The aggressive push of the term transwomen and the drive to override women's sex based rights has caused this pushback. You have deliberately pursued the overwriting of women's rights to improve your rights. You need to recognise that you are not women. You are still men. You need your own rights.
The Trans movement has also deliberately focused on targeting children and this has completely distorted which children identify as trans. Young lesbians, homosexuals, autistic children, children who have lived with abuse or mental health problems are not trans, yet you have promoted transsexualism as the solution to all their problems. It is not and you have created what has become the biggest child abuse scandal of our age.
You need to step back, be honest, and reset your cause. I remember the 1970s when gender stereotypes were upturned and we all learned to see that what it means to be male or female is much broader than sexist stereotypes. You could have built on this. Instead, you aggressively pushed an agenda that has harmed women and children. Ironically, it has also promoted these outdated gender stereotypes.
Women would have been openly supporting you but, instead, you made women your enemy and lost the best advocates you had. "

You're with them or against them

Which is it, for women or against?

Are you identifying as a transwoman now, Andy? I was under the impression you called yourself non binary and don't use women's spaces and services?

Nope.

Still non binary.

Don't use women's spaces or services.

I do coach them though, pretty well.

Then Mickle's post wasn't referring to you.
It specifically mentions transwomen.

It's true though. By aggressively seeking access to women's spaces and promoting a medicalised and surgical path for vulnerable kids the pro trans movement squandered any public empathy they might have had.

They could have used that initial empathy to campaign for better mental health provision for children or third spaces that didn't impinge on women's rights. Instead they made it all about men getting access to women's services and spaces.
