Swyer syndrome is a female dsd.

https://medlineplus.gov/genetics/condition/swyer-syndrome/

It's associated with a higher risk of cancer. These are the people whose condition you appropriate in order to claim sex is a spectrum and thus imagine this justifies including men in women's spaces.

How many transgender people have a dsd? Considering dsd's affect around 0.02% of the population, the number must be vanishingly small.

There are only 2 gamete types. Two sexes, male and female, with a variety of secondary characteristics.

You don't speak for them.

Lol. You don't speak for them either.

I'm not trying to.

You did and do.

We all saw what happened when you tried to speak for the 2nd placed cis-woman

That is thing with Internet obsessives. Saw it with the covididiots. Same phenomenon. They just can't conceive that they could possibly be wrong and the rightness of what they say is so self-evident they assume everyone must think the same way.

I bet you think you are part of the 'silent majority' don't you.

Indeed. I'd imagine the chromosomal abnormalities are a medical specialism of their own.

Yes, as Forrest explained, chromosomal differences are referred to by biologists as 'variations' rather than abnormalities or birth defects. In humans even adjacent cells can show variety is their chromosomes. The video is especially helpful in understanding the range of variations in an understandable way.

Chromosomal testing used to be used in assessing people for fairness in sport, but Wiki helpfully explains why this was dropped.

Sex verification can be substantially more complicated than checking whether a person's sex chromosome pair[a] is XX vs. XY, or comparing their levels of key sex hormones to distinct reference ranges, to determine an athlete's sex. This is due to variations in human biology where some people are not unambiguously female or male, not all cells in a persons body have the same genotype or the presence of other genetic abnormalities. These reasons, among others, led sporting bodies to abandon chromosome testing towards the end of the 20th century and use hormone testing instead. The downside of hormone testing, however, is that policies on hyperandrogenism (women with naturally higher testosterone) were required, which have sparked both public debate and legal battles.

In humans there are only two functional gamete types, but it does not follow from that that sex is binary and immutable.

A secondary sex characteristic is a physical characteristic of an organism that is related to or derived from its sex, but not directly part of its reproductive system.

I've never sanctioned that, as you well know.

I can find the thread if you like. If you're going to take a fundamentalist position, you need to own the consequences.

Why don't you think all women and girls deserve to compete on a level playing field whether at school level or Olympic level?

Quelle surprise! Misrepresenting the views of others has just become habitual for you, hasn't it?

Yes, please link to the post where I say 'I sanction genital inspections on school kids'. I might well have said a doctor's note would suffice if there was someone who would not divulge their birth sex, or a cheek swab and a 20 minute wait.

We don't know your views, Claude. You never seem to be willing to come out and say whether you think men should be in women's prisons or sports, or whether a 12 year old can understand the implications of taking puberty blockers.

In humans there are only two functional gamete types, but it does not follow from that that sex is binary and immutable.

Not immutable? So you can change your sex then?

98.8% of the 8 billion people in the world fall into only 2 categories. Not a binary? And every one of them had a mum and a dad. Not a binary system? 0.02% of 8 billion pieces of data does not a spectrum make.

Two functioning gamete types means a binary system. The fact that there is variance within that binary does not undermine the binary itself.

'Some babies are born blind therefore humans ate not a two eyed species'

'Some babies are born without a limb, so limbs are on a spectrum'.

Big debunking of your Forrest Valkai video here:

https://www.theparadoxinstitute.com...nces-detailed-analysis-of-sex-and-sensibility

Also the sheer brass neck of telling people with a rare medical condition that they aren't male or aren't female. Just to justify men in women's spaces.

Any update on that bog survey? 51% wasn't it? Absolutely overwhelming support there.

I refer you back to my previous reply concerning being blinded by ones own self-belief.

You claimed the majority were against TW in women's toilets. I showed you that 51% were not against.

Which means you were wrong, and were misappropriating the views of the actual majority, rather than the silent one that only exists in your head.

And the funny thing is, this doesn't mean that the % who are against it is 49%. It will be even fewer to account for don't knows.

You are so utterly brainwashed that you don't realise that every time you bring this up you reinforce my point, and undermine yours.

I posted this earlier, then edited out of my post. Im going to re-post it because its aposite:

"As Ive said before, if it wasnt wanging on and on about trans women it would be 5g or covid lockdown/vaccines, because the truth is these weirdo obsessives have a psychological predisposition for this sort of thing. Do these people never read their own twitter feeds and have even a fleeting moment of self-awareness?"

No, it means that you have deliberately nitpicked because it makes you feel like a winner. A 1% margin is worthless for any meaningful differentiation. Just the same as the Brexit margin was meaningless.

And the funny thing is, this doesn't mean that the % who are against it is 49%. It will be even fewer to account for don't knows.
Don't knows or abstains are usually grouped with whichever dataset represents the status quo.

So JK Rowling, Martina Navratilova, Sharon Davies, Bette Midler, Macy Gray, Kathleen Stock, Margaret Atwood, Adele, Judy Blume etc, all weirdo obsessives and believers in conspiracy theories.

Really?

It's almost as bad as those weirdos who post on online chat forms and deny that women should have any rights whatsoever and should not question the right of a man to become a woman because they are nutjob conspiracy theorists.
