Not really, no. It might have 1400 years of cultural impact here but it's on its way out. People identifying as Christian are a minority.
Anyway, I'm surprised you are so keen to preserve a foreign middle-eastern religion imposed upon the indigenous people of this land by violent invaders.

Im not keen to preserve Christianity, I would ban all forms of religion.
This weekend is a relaxing few days off the working people, but that said, it doesn't need to be transformed into some other worshipping cause.

Regardless, banning freedom of thought seems a little odd from someone who proclaims to be pro free speech.

You do realise that these "stories" are exactly that. Stories. Your first mistake is to take them at face value.
You can try and pretend it's humour on your part, but you are presenting these 'stories' as real. This can only mean you are gullible in the extreme or that you think readers here are gullible and you are succesful in tricking them.
Either way you don't come out of this very well.
