Sanger has been critical of Wikipedia since pretty much forever. And he has a point, but equally his own biases are fairly apparent.

'We haven't seen their gametes so we can't possibly know...'
So why did you assign on the basis of what you don't know?
Inherent prejudice maybe, based on the photo(you posted) content?

Even Wikipedia's founder thinks its unreliable now. It has editors who allow or remove content as they see fit which can lead to bias in the articles.

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2021/jul/16/wikipedia-co-founder-larry-sanger-claims-left-lean/

All outlets, whether established mainstream news platforms or community led sources, are only as objective as the people who control them. Wikipedia isn't any more objective than any other.

Is that the same Sanger who says that describing homeopathy as a pseudoscience reveals bias?

Are you seriously saying that the fictional Easter Bunny hasn't been male from the get go? Best assume Jack Frost is a they/them because nobody has asked their pronouns ....

Stopped clocks etc.

More on Wiki bias here:

"...Wikipedia demands that all entries cite independent, reliable sources. As a result, its biases often reflect biases in the world it describes or biases in the information that Wikipedia is built in".

So it would be better if it cited non-independent, unreliable sources?

That's the point. Wiki has a list of approved and (in effect) banned sources for articles. But the approved ones are no more objective and unbiased than the banned ones.

The idea that Wiki is a balanced and objective source is nonsense. I find Wikki useful for some things but it's not independent, which is probably impossible given its present size and model of creating articles.

Now it's the fictional Easter Bunny. Another subtle change to what you're trying to say.
Are you saying that when you've seen their fictional gametes you'll be able to declare if it's male or female?

You'd be better choosing Frosty the Snowman, both were created by the same person. Less than 75 years ago.
What you see as the modern Easter Bunny is based on Peter Rabbit created by Beatrix Potter. The fictional one was there long before Beatrix Potter came into this world.

*Jack Frost is tied in with Older Father Time, a man.
