I've been finding this thread really dispiriting. I'd been things society has been moving forward but, oh dear, seems not.
I kmnow one trans woman, lost touch a few years ago but a good friend sees her every couple of months so up to date with her news and life is difficult. And now life is even more difficult. Why can't we as a society help people in difficult circumstances rather than just adopt a tribal stance.
And when I see things like
Let's all move to Afghanistan, plenty of enforced single sex spaces there.
It's really disheartening. We are supposed to be better than this.

It's a men only group. And it's been that way since they were set up. They can legally exclude women from their groups. This is a bit annoying. They seem to have the premises and equipment already so it wouldn't have been too difficult to have a women's off shoot if there was enough demand and volunteer staff rather than muscling in on a men only venture.

Anybody going to this? 'A protest of a thousand topless transwomen'.

No, of course not. Nobody has claimed it's illegal. I'm sure it will win over the public as much as the public urinating did.
Why is your trans friend 'in difficult circumstances'? Is it related to them being trans? How, in your opinion, does the recent Supreme Court judgement affect them?
