Whilst Israel may wish for that, Iran is a huge country as you probably know. Israelis have already said they won’t put boots on the ground and there are plenty western experts saying it would be foolish for the US to do so.
Bombing from the air is one thing, but as Russia found out, when you put boots on the ground the gap in military strength narrows.
The Americans will be all too aware post Iraq and Afghanistan.
Iran has a very large surface area, but the population is highly concentrated in urban areas. I would have to check the numbers, but I expect that the metropolitan areas of Tehran, Mashhad, Tabriz, Esfahan and Shiraz contain thereabouts of 50% of the total population of the country. It is probably within the capability of the US army to turn those areas into Gaza like hellscapes.
Iran has very serious problems with water supply, and it wouldn't take a lot to knock out the potable water infrastructure. Granted, that would be a war crime, but we know neither Israel nor the US care, and no one is going to stop them.
