Or i would be hanged but you're now implying that someone grown up in a free society (multiple in my case) would develop exactly the same as someone growing up in an tyranny and/or without or with limited acces to free media, which is highly debatable.
I am not implying anything. I am not being subtle. I am saying that fascists in Europe support Israel and Trump by default, and that had those same fascists been in Iran they would support the fascist mullah regime.

You're wrong too, more than enough fascist nd or fascist groups in europe and or US hate Isreal and or jews same as with Trump support, for example those admiring Hitler, part of AFD(the ones that come from more extreme now outlawed groups) support etc. etfc. it's a bit the same as saying all Palestinians support Hamas.(which obviously isn't true either)

Trump suggests ethnic cleansing as a solution. Israeli hard-right say "Great idea!"

I wonder if this is a bit like the suggestion that maybe we should drink bleach to kill Covid. Back then there were enough around prepared to "err, maybe not, bad idea" but these days surrounded by his choice of "yes people" nobody to tell him what he's suggesting.

Most try to engage brain before engaging mouth. But with IQ lower than shoe size that really doesn't help.

I don't think Trump is stupid. Deranged, yes.

It's sort of incredible that he is floating this idea given that Jordan already has several million Palestinian refugees, and Egypt emphatically does not want any. The idea of cleansing the Gazans into Sinai was floated a year ago.

Describing Gaza as a "demolition site", Trump said: "You're talking about probably a million and a half people, and we just clean out that whole thing". He added that the move "could be temporary" or "could be long-term".

Starmer appears to be praising Trump for helping secure a ceasefire.
A ceasefire is what we all wanted no? Or did you want the killing to continue?

So far as I can see there's no pushback on the lunacy that Trump is proposing. Will that be forthcoming, or will it only happen once it is a fait accompli, like the current destruction of Gaza?

A ceasefire is great as long as it holds.
But in the long term, there will be no peace if Trump’s solution is to kick Palestinians out of Gaza, and allow Israel to populate it.

but why would a very very rich property developer want to move all the people out of a country with a long beach front coast line????

I quoted this before but I'll say it here as well

“There’s no greys, only white that’s got grubby. I’m surprised you don’t know that. And sin, young man, is when you treat people as things. Including yourself. That’s what sin is.’
‘It’s a lot more complicated than that -’
‘No. It ain’t. When people say things are a lot more complicated than that, they means they’re getting worried that they won’t like the truth. People as things, that’s where it starts.”

― Terry Pratchett, Carpe Jugulum

IMO forcing people to move away from an area that you want to develop complies with the above

There will be no long term solution until the price the Israelis are made to pay for denying justice is too high for them to bear, because they are not interested in justice.

So who can make them? The UK? Don't be silly. Gaza's neighbours? No, because they have neither the will nor the ability. The US? Probably, but will they? Not a chance.

One line from R4 News report this morning discussing International Holocaust Remembrance Day (today) from Auschwitz was along the lines of the underlying driver being hate. And whilst one should never compare atrocities that one line made me appreciate how much of the world really hasn't learnt anything, hasn't moved forward and it's only a matter of time before it happens again ... ooops ...

(One should not and cannot start comparing atrocities, comparing numbers, etc. as in many respects that's just a mechanism to avoid appreciating the true horror of what the human race seems to do and so readily).
