I guess Northumbria's finest haven't got the memo because there were plenty of Palestine Action placards at the Monument on Friday evening in Newcastle. Maybe they only go after pensioners because the holders were all quite young?

I imagine that the actual reason Palestine Action was proscribed is that they've been quite effective at making Elbit's business in the UK unprofitable.

It was expected that more protests would happen during the galician stages. There will be plenty of Palestinian flags along the route, many town halls in Galicia are flying it.

Sanctions on Israel are mostly performative. They make so much of the equipment that's vital for efficiently killing people, and it's embedded in most armaments wherever they're bought.

There was a small Palestine protest in. Newport at the start of the ToB this morning. I bumped into a mate who’s in charge of policing this weekend and asked why he hadn’t sent his troops in to sort them out. It seems that maybe only the Met are getting pushed into that.
