Is that not more correctly one Lebanese person says he wants rid of Hezbollah.

I'm not aware a TV personality has a mandate to decide the policy of a country

(Hope I'm not duplicating something already posted - not seen it but ...)
Israeli forces fire teargas at schoolchildren holding West Bank sit-in
Israeli forces have fired teargas at Palestinian schoolchildren who were staging a sit-in in the occupied West Bank after settlers blocked access to their school.
...
A group of schoolchildren and Palestinian residents had gathered near a barbed wire fence erected by Israeli settlers, which blocked access to the school.

Schoolchildren and some local adults were holding an open-air class as a sit-in to demand access when troops fired the teargas, witnesses said.

Trump behaves and acts like a TV personality.

WTF has a remark by a lebanese TV personality got to do with the elected President of a completely different country.
you are obsessed with Trump and can't stop yourself talking about him even when he is irrelevant

The POTUS (PoS shortened) is a TV celebrity speaking for a whole country.

He is 'irrelevant'?

He is irrelevant to the discussion about a quote from a Lebanese person about Israeli presence in Lebannon

but hey, don't let your obsession with Trump derail any discussion about anything not involving Trump into one where you have to mention him

Which has nothing to do with what a Lebanese citizen says about a terrorist organisation in Lebanon

you can't help your obsession with Trump derailing anything to make it about Trump

The point was about a TV celebrity speaking for a nation. Can you think of a better example?
Don't bother answering as I know there is no point engaging. Out.

Netanyahu has Trump on a shoestring.
Israel receives billions of dollars by donations from APAC (and other funding bodies who try to disguise themselves as anything but). Trump has basically given Netanyahu and the IDF carte blanche to do what the hell it likes. With this empowerment, we've seen the flattening of Gaza, breaches of the ceasefire in Iran (by Israel within hours of the first ceasefire) and all the time Israel is bombing Iran - including schools, infrastructure and hospitals - in a continuation of the war crimes they committed in Gaza.
Biden was far more reluctant to give money to Israel hand over fist - in fact, there's a long string of Republican administrations that constantly argued over Israeli defence funding and the funding came with conditions. Trump has placed no conditions on Netanyahu and Netanyahu has this desire to geographically expand Israel at the expense of the civilians living in those areas under a poorly presented banner of countering terrorism.
Given the above, you cannot separate Israeli actions in Lebanon from Trump.
No brakes on Netanyahu's nihilism. No accountability expected from Trump. Very little pushback or opposition in congress because of a mainly sycophantic GOP majority (and also, the APAC backed Democrats cannot be over looked).

Only with a myopic disposition and a huge dollop of naivety can you compartmentalise Israeli military action as something isolated from the funding and the political endorsement that is allowing continued Israeli aggression in Lebanon. It is yet more perpetration of genocide from a nation that has gone completely off the rails and lost all of it's humanity. Such heavy and over bearing irony. Such hypocricy. So vile and simultaneously incomprehensible.

I'll stop there before I go off on a character assassination because your comments speak volumes.
