Who manufactures these bombs?

General Dynamics according to the post

The US administration know that the only way to beat Iran is to inflict the same level of destruction that Israel inflicted in Gaza. The US administration know that they would not manage to pull that off because they need to keep the façade that they care about the laws of war and so on. The US administration is preparing to outsource the obliteration of Iran to Israel. You read it here first.

Note that I said US administration, not Trump administration. The democrats would probably do the same, just roll the turd in some glitter first.

I can't disagree with any of that.
Which is completely demoralising.

Lots of people - as usual in these things - are making Sheeran's dilemma a binary thing.

Well newsflash: saying he wants his shows to be free of comment on Gaza/Israel isn't taking a side. Doesn't matter if he's gagging artists on SideA or SideB - it's still a 3rd option. Even if some of you don't like it!

(also worth noting that Macklemore has been supporting Palestine ON STAGE for at least 2 years, so Sheeran is hardly against all artists that speak out

Given the size of Iran (big) and how depleted US munitions are (based on independent reports) are there other constraints that might stop the US trying?

Something doesn't add up. Quite common with Donnie.
They have depleted munitions but are giving away tonnes of it to Israel. Who exactly is running the US?

I will admin to not knowing enough about munitions, hence a question mark at the end.

Also maybe "it's more complicated ". I would imagine it depends on what munitions eg. patriot missiles expensive and on long delivery times. Maybe more traditional bombs with more regular explosives can be manufactured a fair bit quicker? But in this age does anybody use simple drop bombs that explode on hitting the ground. How quickly can missiles be manufactured (those that steer or self guide to a defined targets)?

Iran is big, but population is concentrated in a handful of cities. It is clear that Iran has no meaningful air defences. If you look at the yields mentioned in the original post cited above, it is not inconceivable that Israel could turn Kharg Island, Tehran and Bandar Abbas into rubble overnight. I think the Israelis are sufficiently crazy to do it and not care about the consequences.

I don’t know if this has been posted before.
The saddest part is the date of publication, which is 24 years ago.

And there's Ed, not standing up for his friend because he thinks his concerts should not be political yet in today's concert, to the entire audience he said
‘What is happening in Gaza is catastrophic and unjustifiable and disproportionate. My heart has been broken by the scale of devastation and loss of civilians’ lives, children’s lives.
So he can say it and it's not politics but his friend says it, gets sacked, Ed just sits and watches 'cos can't use his concerts as a platform and now as above. Complete £&@")!?'l.

I don't think Sheeran named Israel, but said it was terrible. I suspect that the text was agreed by Kraft.

Macklemoore didn't name Israel. Just Palesting, Gaza, West Bank, Lebanon, Cuba, etc.

Macklemore did explicitly say in no way is a criticism" of Jewish people.
