Lots of people - as usual in these things - are making Sheeran's dilemma a binary thing.

Well newsflash: saying he wants his shows to be free of comment on Gaza/Israel isn't taking a side. Doesn't matter if he's gagging artists on SideA or SideB - it's still a 3rd option. Even if some of you don't like it!

(also worth noting that Macklemore has been supporting Palestine ON STAGE for at least 2 years, so Sheeran is hardly against all artists that speak out
