It isn't really newsworthy any more. The barstards seem incapable of basic humanity.
To me it's important as it's one of the few occasions where there is some scrutiny over Israel's claims about what happened. Best the world ever sees is result of internal IDF inquiries which always seem to find IDF as victims and having behaved far better than perfectly against horrendous odds.

But when there is some external evidence Israel's claims fall apart which does make one question the reliability of all their other internal inquiries.

"Linked to Hamas" is meaningless propaganda. I work in the NHS, I'm gonna start calling it the "Labour run health ministry". They're the farking government, everybody in the country is linked to them.

When Israel declares how Hamas are using the Gaza hospitals, well it's a war and troops on both sides get injured and go to hospital to get treated.

When Israel bombs civilians and declares Hamas are hiding amongst the civilian population, with such high population density is there a lot of space available separate from the civilian population?

And only discovered as one of the victims was buried with their mobile phone which happened to have recorded some of the incident and then was recovered and got into the hands of the Red Cross. Makes one question how often this sort of thing is happening but the evidence to hint at the truth never emerges and the perpetrators get away with "targeting terrorists ... ".

And despite not knowing what the vehicles were, not being aware they were emergency vehicles they did know that 6 of the medics were "linked to Hamas". As always, no evidence to substantiate these "revised" claims.

For some time I have taken any claims made by the IDF with Lot's [of] salt.

Israeli soldiers reveal systematic destruction of Palestinian property to create Gaza buffer zone
For Palestinians, setting foot inside the buffer zone can be a death sentence.
Multiple soldiers described rules of engagement that authorized them to fire on Palestinians in the zone, regardless of whether they were armed or identified as combatants.
“Adult, male – kill. Shoot to kill. For women and children, shoot to drive away,” a Sergeant 1st Class in Israel’s Armored Corps said in an interview.

The militia's that are trying to bring down Hamas tend to disagree with you. As well as the PLO / Palestinian authority.(mainly West bank) Hamas is the same as Isis on Iraqi and Syrian land was, although they where able to impose their rule on the area they occupied, they never where an recognized government and that they confirm themselves, yes the ''political fraction'' of their movement took part in elections and won them but that alone doesn't make them government.

Israel has tended to fight the Hamas of its own creation rather than the Hamas known to serious scholarship, although for many years the landmark study of the movement was by two Israelis: Shaul Mishal and Avraham Sela’s The Palestinian Hamas, published in 2000. Mishal and Sela described a social movement with deep roots among ‘the common people’. Intellectually it borrowed from the leading political religious thinkers in the Islamic reformist tradition: Rachid Ghannouchi in Tunisia and Hassan al-Turabi in Sudan. Hamas wasn’t a band of criminals but a well-organised political and social force. It divided the Gaza Strip and the West Bank into districts and subdistricts, and subdivided those into local units headed by members of the movement. It exercised ruthless pressure to enforce conservative religious norms, with the goal of a pure, and therefore strong, resistance, purged of doubters and opponents, including supporters of Fatah, the most powerful party within the PLO. Hamas’s presence at every level of society, providing welfare and medical provision as well as religious education, ensured a baseline level of support.

Support us or there's no school or medical treatment, and forcing conservative religious norms on the population and purging opponents, all sounds a bit terroristy to be honest with you.

That book quoted was written 25 years ago, since when Hamas have got even more terroristy as we've seen.
