I think it was you who said they disliked the "we are where we are" expression, but, we are. I have no idea HOW this can be achieved, but, to me, the only possible way forward is to have two states (ie Palestine and Israel). BOTH "sides" have to be forced to stop fighting with each other, and, be made to accept each others right to exist. Rehashing the history of the situation is, to me, futile, it is like the "Brexit discussion" pointless. Poor decisions have been made, they cannot be unmade, the only way forward is to make the best possible compromise.

And Netanyahu has made his compromise perfectly clear. 100%-0%.

Don't think I suggested Netanyahu, just as I didn't suggest any of those with extreme views in the other camp 😊

I didn't say it was, I said, that IMHO, a compromise, in the form of a two state solution, was the only way forward for peaceful co-existance.

Again, IMHO, the alternative is perpetual hostilities until some mixture of one side or the other wiping out the other, and/or, they blow us all to bits.

I did say that I did not know HOW this could be achieved.

I would add, for clarity, that it would appear that none of our current crop of "Leaders" do not have any idea how either.

The way things are going it will be "Palestine no more" before the year end.
And in my view our government is complicit in the genocide by standing back and allowing it to happen. Netanyahu is worse than Putin.
