Israel bombed Gaza three times in the month before that; September 2023.
Maybe we can have a quick poll on that?
You seem to have forgotten to mention it was in response to the Palestinians hurling explosives towards troops & sending incendiary balloons into Israel.
Which was in retaliation to something else, which was in retaliation to so something else, which was...
Point being this did not begin October 7th 2023, it is decades old.
"Decades", you say? 🤔
Well, Israel is only decades old so…
They loathed to drink of the river. He turned their waters into blood.
Their land brought forth frogs, yea, even in their king's chambers.
He gave their cattle over to the pestilence; blotches and blains broke forth on man and beast.
He spake the word, and there came all manner of flies and lice in all quarters.
He spake; and the locusts came without number, and devoured the fruits of the ground.
He gave them hailstones for rain; fire mingled with the hail ran along upon the ground.
He sent a thick darkness over the land, even darkness which might be felt.
He smote all the first-born of Egypt, the chief of all their strength.
FWIW, this is from the biblically-derived libretto, and what 'God' did to Egypt - sounds a bit familiar (with updating for modern methods of warfare), non?
Anyhow it's amutemoot point. hamas escalated the troubles on Oct 7. Israel decided enough is enough and began to wipe out hamas.
"Decades", you say? 🤔
The bible is not historically accurate, to say the least, so using it as a basis for territorial claims doesn't hold much water.
