Israel using white phosphorus to scorch earth in south Lebanon, researcher says
When the M825-series 155mm artillery projectile airbursts, expelling its felt wedges containing white phosphorus, it leaves a distinctive knuckle-shaped plume. That is how Human Rights Watch (HRW) researchers said they were able to verify that Israel was again using the notorious weapon over south Lebanon, reigniting accusations that it is breaking the laws of war.

The New York-based rights group said it had verified and geolocated eight images showing airburst white phosphorus munitions exploding over residential areas in the southern Lebanese town of Yohmor in the opening days of Israel’s assault during the war on Gaza.
Even worse: "... exploding over residential areas"

From Human Rights Watch:

Israel: Discriminatory Death Penalty Bill Passes

...
The wording of the bill makes it clear that it would primarily, if not exclusively, be applied to Palestinians.

Within the civil court system in Israel, the bill imposes the death penalty for the deliberate killing of a person with the intention of “negating the existence of the State of Israel.” It mandates execution by hanging, restricts access to legal counsel and visits from family members, limits external oversight, and grants immunity to those involved in carrying out executions.

Within the military court system of the Occupied Palestinian Territory, the bill imposes the death penalty for killings classified as acts of terrorism, as defined under Israeli law, even without a prosecutorial request. The bill only allows courts to order life imprisonment in unspecified exceptional cases where “special reasons” are found, limiting judicial discretion. It also prohibits commutation of sentences and mandates execution within an accelerated timeframe of 90 days.
From Amnesty International:

Israel/OPT: Newly adopted death penalty law must be repealed

“By authorizing military courts, which have a conviction rate of over 99% for Palestinian defendants and which are notorious for disregarding due process and fair trial safeguards, to impose effectively mandatory death sentences and ordering the execution within just 90 days of the final ruling, Israel is brazenly granting itself carte blanche to execute Palestinians while stripping away the most basic fair-trial safeguards,” said Erika Guevara-Rosas.

What was sick was the footage of the people in the Kinesis celebrating the win.
The same sick people who celebrated 7 October on the other side of what is now the ruins of Gaza. I mean two wrongs does not make one right right? if you feed hatred don't expect to get love and respect.(both in education, society, work people in Isreal and Gaza are feeded hate daily, despite that there is still some level off them coming together offering help etc. but extremists fractions from both sides don't really like that.) As long as there is no one in a position like Arafat and Rabin where when they almost made peace it will be a forever conflict. with the only difference the ones to blame for starting hostalities.

I've given up blaming Netanyahu for everything. My scope has broadened to the people of Israel as a whole.
I find it difficult to assess but am beginning to wonder. Where I find it difficult is we are dependent on reports often based on which Israeli organisations get in front of reporters and the "balance" news reports use.

One aspect is that Netanyahu is desperate to improve his re-election prospects and he is undoubtedly a very shrewd politicians in terms of getting elected so must be aware of what will go down well with the Israeli electorate ie that he's doing something suggests a significant portion of the Israeli electorate would support it.

Which side has been stealing land and driving away or killing the inhabitants for over a century (yes, before Israel was created)?

No, the Arabs lived in their land, the land wasn't empty, under Ottoman rule. The British and French supported Arab insurrection against the Ottomans as part of WWI. Those Arabs were a mix of muslim, christian and jewish already living there, I repeat, that was their land.

At the same time the British promised european and US jewish people the Arab lands of Palestine for a jewish homeland. The fact that people already lived there didn’t matter because those already there were brown people, who should make way for the higher calibre white people.
