I was a little surprised to hear Greg Dyke (ex-DG BBC, ex-president FA) popping up on Radio 4 this morning and criticising the BBC.

Labour should have Stood with Lineker from the start.
Called out the racism from the start,attacks on hotels housing asylum seekers.
Stood squarely against the Rwanda removal policy.
No good waiting to see which way the wind is blowing,start as you mean to go on

Acceptable for Fiona Bruce, whose husband has a 4 million quid a year (via his company) contract to advertise for the Tories, to say that domestic abuse is fine. As long as it's a Tory that's involved. Wonder if she would say this if a Labour MP/Leader was involved?

If this is abhorrent, why isn't Bruce being told to 'step away' as Gary Lineker is?
