Football Focus has been pulled at the last minute.
Final score is also under threat as no one is presenting it.
Lots of teams have refused to speak with BBC journalists.
This is not looking good for BBC.

Unfortunately, that's a long term gain for those against a public, impartial BBC, as then they can say that it doesn't do general interest things like sport. It is almost as if it had been planned.

I think it could go the other way.
The presenters are clearly all annoyed with the current politicisation of the BBC and by withdrawing their labour have sent a strong message to those in charge.

Saturday's Match of the Day will now "focus on match action without studio presentation or punditry", a BBC spokesperson says.

Well, that sounds like an improvement?

But, excellent for the many people who dislike the amount of football coverage.

As long as you support the suppression of free speech. Other proponents past and present include President Xi, Putin, Kim Jong-un, Robert Mugabe, Adolf Hitler, Mussolini etc.

It's not a good look.

Since when has a dislike of football been an indicator of suppression of free speech?

Did all of those people you list remove football coverage from TV?, I never knew that.
