Chelsea have had to issue a formal press release after Conor Gallagher has been accused of racism for failing to high five a mascot!

The world has gone mad.

I read about that earlier. It's absolutely pathetic that they're having to issue statements about it, especially as it happens all the time.

Some mascots don't want to hold hands, don't want to high five (or in this case don't get noticed), look a bit overawed and shy about the situation...

Utterly ridiculous.

Looks like it's Nazi Cosplay Weekend in England.
I think that they might take a little bit of offence at that.

That doesn't make it any less weird.
It's a re-enactment festival. Lots of people take part in them. One of the important things about history is to learn from it, and re-enactment is often a good way to learn about things. Hence the Black Country Museum is very successful thanks to its living exhibits. If you go to Worcester you can see the Sealed Knot re-enact the battle of Worcester.

It tends not to work if you only portray one side of the battle or one side of history.

I suppose you think all actors are perverts as well?

I agree with this. I had a colleague who spent his weekends doing battle of Waterloo re-enactments. He was a little eccentric but totally harmless.
But.
The large swastika on the side of the tent could probably have been removed without the loss of much historical context.
