No really.??

Do tell me all about it 🙄

Meanwhile, remind us again why you're here infesting the brexit thread??

Given that it's clearly such a non issue 🧐

To try and stop moaning minnies like you constantly putting down brexit voters, just because they dont answer your pathetic questions over and over again…….and becuase they chose a differenr answer to the 2016 question than you did.

Brexit is done……accept it, move on and start looking forward and positive, rather than moaning about the so called negatives.

Because you don't have an answer to what's good about brexit..

It's not a 'pathetic' question, it's a perfectly valid one..
Curiosity will inevitably lead to people wanting to know why they're being made to suffer, like this.

Why all the damage, and destruction??

What's it for?
What's the 'trade off'???

Because as it stands, brexit is total and utter shyte.

Us 'remoaners' said it would be, and oh look there it is ...

It's almost as if you can't bear having it pointed out that you backed the wrong horse..
Unfortunately we all suffer for your mistake

As it happens I've been doing my best over the years since the leave vote, to help dampen down the worst effects of brexit in my industry sector..

All kinds of committees, research, studies, political and practical work.

That's one reason, that I know just how shyte brexit really is..
And how it will continue to be so...

I'm seeing, and hearing about its effects, on the ground, very regularly ..

So if you've got some positive effects to offset all that , then go right ahead..

All ears

Spill the beans..

Otherwise, maybe best leave those of us trying to make some sense out of a very bad job*..
... to pick up a few pieces...

*A very bad brexit job, not of our making

Well in my 46yrs of life…..im yet to meet a poor farmer.

and maybe you havent worked it out yet, but we left the EU officially at the end of 2019, then at the beginning of 2020 we hit upon a pandemic that virtually shut down the world, we have a government hell bent on infighting, sleaze and parties……so maybe, thats the issue and not brexit itself.

but, its our job as individuals to make the best of brexit and not just moan about it.

Actually, it's rather worse than that headline makes out. There's thousands of other projects that will never get started, because we now can't get EU funding. That's tens of thousands of high quality jobs - that other countries will benefit from, not us. Many international collaborations - and most cutting edge research involves such collaborations are ending. We''ll no longer attract the brightest and the best. These are the people who start new companies to develop and commercialise their discoveries - which, incidentally, has been a major force in job creation over the past few decades. Someone else will get the benefit of that, too.

So far, I've yet to see the slightest bit of action from the government to make up the 5+ billion shortfall in research funding this represents, despite many promises to do so. Somehow, I'm utterly unsurprised about that...

You totally sure you want to debate with me, over post brexit UK food and ag policy..?
Free trade deals, environmental regulation??

Or that you need even more evidence of the generally depressing brexit effect on our economy, and society??

That's a bit funny, but also quite sad .

In the the meanwhile I'll go do some farming - that's my actual job, not to waste my time futilely searching for these supposed benefits of your brexit..

If you find some let us know though, yes?? 👍🏼

And yes we've also had these venal, lying, self serving, scumbag Tories to contend with, as well..

Those same ones who lied their way into office on false promises of 'getting brexit done'..

You reap what you sow, and so forth..

Or you could just start your own threads and not use my name to get them off the ground……

Wooosh...

Wah, wah, wah, wah.
Stop pointing out that the thing I voted for was really stupid, has no up sides and I was totally mugged off and start saying how great it's going to be.

Just to be brow beated by you lot, cause your all a bunch of negative ninnies, no thanks.

Welcome yourself into the new modern crisis
Even during the invasion of Iraq, the coalition forces recognised that the most important battle was the one for hearts and minds.

Moan, moan, moan, moan
Yup, as predicted, you've got nothing useful to offer.

Just turned up to moan about us pointing out all the shyte that's going on.

Thing is, there's already little Sheppy here to do that.
Still, I guess it's nice for him to have some meta moaning company 🤔

'Brow beaten' 🙄

Awww, poor thing...

Maybe stay off the brexit threads if you don't want to hear about the negative side of brexit..

Until or unless you've found good reasons to be cheerful, that is...
