If I had one of those I wouldn't be making bar end plugs I'd make more 3D printers.

Finally, a Brexiteer willing to own their shoot. My congratulations to you. Out of interest are you still supportive of Brexit now, or have you changed your mind?

I'm not sure I own anything, but yes I was wrong and I'm no longer supportive of Brexit. I was wrong, I hoped for big change for the better but it's not worked out yet. I don't think it will, if ever, or for at least a few years.

It won’t, ever, it can’t I’m afraid, but I do appreciate your honesty

I am now willing to back Andy's run for leader of the Conservative party, or at least as chief advisor to whichever numpty gets the job.

Quite frankly I think even if labour get in at the next GE it'll take years to unstitch the mess that's been made. But anyone apart from Tories can't exactly do a worse job. I think as I've matured, I've seen things as they are. I initially thought that a drastic change would pave the way for a more positive and self sufficient country but it was blue sky thinking. I gave the powers that be too much credit. From what I've heard about Labour they've drawn criticism from Corbyn's notion of "free internet for all" and other magic money trees. My concern was where will all the money come from without huge tax hikes. But now the Tories have really and publicly shown what they're made of (elitist shoot) I'm hoping someone else can give it a go

Say what Liz??

Can I ask what 'changes' in particular you were after??

350M/week to the NHS sounded like a bonus. It seems to have happened but we're not really seeing much in day-today improvements. But then we had the pandemic so hard to tell.

Welcome yourself into the new modern crisis
It's interesting that you say that since we were repeatedly assured by an erstwhile contibutor to the forum that the £350m claim was false, that it was always known to be false, that it was never intended to be taken as true, and that no leave voter took it to be true.

I also personally know people who voted leave because of the £350m claim.

So not really a specific 'change' that you were after @Electric_Andy .

But you did believe that the 'club membership' fees that we saved, would be redirected into the NHS ??

So now it's been shown that the actual costs of 'leaving' that's already been incurred, so far, is already in the billions.

https://costofbrexit.netlify.app/

And also been shown that the ongoing economic (and society) deficit, caused by our leaving will always be way in excess of those 'membership fees' recouped.

Do you feel a tad short changed??

Conned even??

any link as to where this info is coming from?? or is it just another form of evidence that cant be provided

Obviously not a follower of your own advice as so often when being asked a question reply with words to affect of 'I'm not doing your work for you, Google it'

Did you even open the link as the first words you would have read after the title were,

The Bank of England announced that voting to leave the European Union has cost Britain more than £440 million a week in lost growth since the referendum, thats £727 per second.

We have created a running total to show how much that figure has totalled so far.

based on what information and who did the calculations for the calculator.......anyone could have built that and put those words together.

no info who owns the site any affiliations etc etc etc - cant have it both ways, if your asking us ( brexiteers to provide it) then you have to do the same
