based on what information and who did the calculations for the calculator.......anyone could have built that and put those words together.

no info who owns the site any affiliations etc etc etc - cant have it both ways, if your asking us ( brexiteers to provide it) then you have to do the same

Then follow your own advice and get on the Google. Plenty of credible sources

i dont need to, google can do that work for you......

google is a search fucntion on the internet, you can use it to look up many things including EU policies linked to the Uk and which ones the government want to chage, keep or get rid of altogther.

Why not try it, it will open up a whole new world for you. :okay:

ignorance?? or just cant be arsed to do your research for you......

I did in fact search Google for the £440m figure and it actually turns out to be wrong.

As for the other question, not even Google knows the answer to that one.

Indeed and that figure is from the BoE, but why would they know better than jobby?

I'm fully in favour of providing sources for claims, even those which reinforce my existing prejudices. I consider The Times a more reliable source than some random website with a counter on it.

I remember, possibly on the old forum, doing some back of an envelope maths regarding the £350m and a proposed NHS pay rise which people said we couldn't afford. I CBA to go through it again but the conclusion was that if the £350m was valid then we could afford a pay rise at or above inflation with some to spare. Inflation's shot up since then of course.

Again……anyone could have built that site and put any old bullshit on there

but just so im right on the rules….remainers cant post anything want

brexiteers can post, but must provide forensic evidence of were the information came from, to appease remainers.

am i correct on the rules???

And come on crowns on pint glasses, blue passports, queueing for hours to get it stamped n all that..

It could be worse..

Yes I do I suppose. But can't do much about it now! They claim to be spending even more per week on the NHS (£390M) but then that's taking it away from somewhere else rather than a "gain" AIUI

We could always have spent that extra money on the NHS if we had wanted to.
Just as we could always have spent more money on other social goods..

It's not that the funding of our services relies entirely on tax take.

That's not how our economy works.

Although it's not difficult either to put a case for better 'front end spending' on health, education, employment, social security programmes, being a money saver and generator in the long run .

In addition to their providing greater wellbeing for the population as a whole, in the longer term
The primary function of 'government' yes??

You could join the campaign to rejoin..

Make sure you never get hoodwinked like that again, be more careful who you believe or trust, find out their motivations, work out what's in it for them?? .

Admonish your pro brexit representatives severely for their lies and deceit - that won't do much I know but it might make you feel a bit better..

Do your bit to help campaigns to stop things like the proposed relaxation on pesticide controls, which will damage our ecosystems.

Insist that you don't want GM seeds and GM foodstuffs threatening our food and farming systems..
Nor deregulated imports of foodstuffs under 'FreeTrade' agreements'

Support the upholding of water quality regulations, which risk being downgraded now we're no longer under EU regs..

There's quite a bit more , but that will do to be going on with.. 😊👍🏼
