I do think this is the end of the road for him. It would be a huge mistake for him to try and rehabilitate his reputation. He needs to disappear from public view altogether and be grateful it ended as well as it did for him. Leaving aside the specific allegations, the other things that have come to light suggest he's an arrogant and unpleasant man so I don't think there will be a thawing in public sentiment about him like there has been with Camilla.

I have no idea about Prince Andrew's sexual conquests even though the whole world seems to have conjured them up and are frothing about their fantasies.
I watched student pilots at Cranfield College practice hovering for hours about three metres from the deck. Once, the instructor lost the student's attention and a few hundred thousand quid's worth of helicopter got trashed. Fortunately the occupants were unscathed.

It's a long held tradition that any amount of macho posturing, / overcoming / unethical 'persuasion" of many colours will be overlooked, or applauded even.

Especially if that same guy can shoot straight, wield an axe , fly a fighter jet, amass or inherit great wealth, or even look a bit cool whilst drinking a martini and wearing a tuxedo.. .

Have any of us a sexual history that isn't without shameful episodes that we regret and wish we could atone for? Are we all confident we're on the side of the angels?
