A friend of mine who's about 6'3" and not the lightest chap you've ever seen has recently bought himself a really lovely low-mileage vintage Mini (he had a Mini as his first car), and remarkably he still fits in quite comfortably, albeit that he's not going to rattle around in it.

I know minis were small.

Measure the number plates to check.

Google tells me that an X5 is 1765mm and an original mini is 1345mm high.
So the difference is an extra 25%.

Here's why I like old stuff: as I was downloading this morning, the sharp morning light caught this old woodwork in my house, and it reminded me that all of us are just passing through, and might or might not leave a little mark on the world, and that even if we do, eventually layers of paint will hide the evidence of our existence.

Thought the same, it’s too low for a start. The BMW would be no more than head height for me so the mini would be around waist high.
