He'd probably waited all his judgy life to be able to do that. A bit like the "The bowler's Holding, the batsman's Willey" cricket commentary. You just don't want to screw up that moment when it presents itself.

Sadly no evidence that it was ever said.
There is no recording of it anyway.

I hate to say it, but I don't think Duck Duck Go has a sense of humour.

I do sometimes wonder if so-called professional media outlets really have got any clue about how to best use minimal character-count social media...

I'm not a fan of suits and ties at the best of times, and this doesn't make me any fonder. Would you go on TV looking like this? It's the Dutch Foreign Minister David van Weel, or someone who was sleeping rough outside the Dutch Foreign Ministry when they couldn't find van Weel.

Obviously sees Boris as a fashion icon. I always used to think that somewhere in Savile Row there was a tailor going nuts seeing his high quality work made to look like something found on the floor in Primark. Back when dressing 'smart' was normal in my line of work I used to go to meetings with Council employees and wonder how they managed to make wearing a suit and tie look so scruffy.

That's the thing – if you're going to wear that, it needs to look smart, otherwise it looks worse than dressing informally.
