BBC news this evening(?) had excerpts of an interview with Jenrick. Came across as him having an unbelievably overinflated ego with nothing behind it (no thought processes - make me reflect on my lobster facts I posted in the Animal Welfare thread and how some species would do better than Jenrick).

People only suspect that Reform would make a hash of running the country. Whereas we know that Labour has done.
My reasoning would be that the Tories made a thorough and historic hash of it, the Tories who were part of that but not even up to the task of making a proper hash of it are now at Reform, and Labour are just in the process of making a hash of it.

So...

I think Reform are still miles away from having the infrastructure/personnel to run the country (irrespective of their policies)
I still believe that faced with a ballot paper and their "X" potentially putting Farâge in No 10 a fair number will chicken out and vote elsewhere. Maybe I'm just over optimistic.

But a long time to next elections and a lot can change between now and then (plus Labour getting to realise how easy it is to cancel elections ...)
