Would it not be preferable for Labour, Tory, Lib-dem, even Green, stand against him (Farage), and, one of them win, otherwise, it risks looking as if they are afraid of him?

Nah, they are prudently waiting for the by-election following the results of the enquiry.

When the electorate can make a better informed decision.

It's one way of not trying to deny the allegations, though I'm not sure it's going to work.

I am suprised nobody has ever attempted this is an criminal trial. "Murderer accuses witness of telling Police they saw the crime".

As you know, I'd normally rather read stuff, but this discussion about George Cottrell shows why I think Farage is rattled and is unlikely to be able to shake this off. It's dynamite.

I'm wondering if Starmer will be talking to Count Binface to persuade him not to stand, or whether the prospect of CB beating Farage is just too good not to see.If CB loses, Farage would still look a prat and the invretigation would continue. If CB wins... hahahahahaha!
