Starmer has four years to show people the real and postive achievements of his tenure to their lives or the next election will be dominated by the Tories/Reform

He has been an unmitigated disaster. Never has a prime minister become detested in such a short period of time.

Given he had a huge majority, it has built on sandy ground, extremely low voting turnout for labour as many didn't bother to vote only wanting to oust the Tories.

Starmer was given his chance because of all the stories he told running up to the election. Once in he has renegade on just about every one.

There are dozens of video compilations showing promises before being elected and what he did since being PM

He is finished even after 7 months

I think it was his “working class” roots wot clinched it. Did he mention, his father was a toolmaker? 😊

He has another 4 years and 5 months.

People have short memories.

And he's no renegade.

Not these days, remember liberal under Nick clegg. University fees

Starmer will be lucky to see his term out fully.

That may be so, who knows, but Labour will still govern for that period with or without him as leader.

We don't have a presidency.

If by some miracle, the public rise up, they could bring about the governments collapse.

The "public rise up", you say?

Like this, you mean?

It may be technically possible that there is an "early" GE, but, given the size of Labour's majority, it is extremely unlikely.

Be interesting to know what odds the bookies would give you on another GE before this term is up, and/or of Starmer still being leader going into the next GE, whenever it may be.

Even more interesting would be the odds the bookies would give you on Reform gaining a majority in the next GE, whenever that may be, given our FPTP voting system.

Might be worth risking a spare fiver.
