Something a darn sight more serious, sexual assault, knife crime. There are examples out there.

This gentleman was made an example of.

So, nothing relevant then? If you're going to claim there's a disparity in sentencing, it has to be like for like.

Malicious communications are not comparable to sexual assault or knife crime.

Who decides what is truth, misinformation, what is hateful?

No matter which side you are on, the end of open free speech is here

1984 has arrived in the UK

That is utter bollocks, and shows you haven't read or understood what Eric Blair wrote.

Plenty.

These kind of carefully and heavily edited videos are all over social media anytime major events occur. Caution is required especially when they come from Tommy Robinson and Darren Grimes. Even more caution is required when they only ever show Muslims/people with dark skin committing crimes (and we all know your views on Muslims) as If white people never do bad things.

Critical thinking is really needed here.
That's not evidence those are the voices in your head, you known the ones you also use to measure up others when they do deliver and link you don't understand or doesn't fit your narrative.

Who can say with 100% certainty what the truth is?

The example is the labour councillor, who said cut their throats.

Very stupid indeed, but does it need a charge/conviction of 'encouraging murder'.

Whose murder of the future will help be attached to?

What happens over the next couple of years might be so surreal, we will be gob smacked
And to think we worried where the next George Orwell would come from. Worry no more!

What do you think free speech means?

Look at what information was spread by these eejits:
Arabic name - false
Religion - false
Refugee status - false
MI6 watch list- false
Arrived in UK last year - false
Came by boat - false

One of those Tate brothers added to it with a photo of a completely innocent man, claiming he was the killer - false.

It's right, given the circumstances, that people who broadcast these lies to millions of people are answerable for their distribution of lies. If it was done to incite hatred or violence then they should be prosecuted.

What they are legislating is unless what you say is 100% accurate beyond doubt, then someone or authority can drag you in front of a court.

Where does it say this (outside of your imagination)?

Has the Councillor who made the 'throat cutting' comment actually been charged with an offence?

Or is it an investigation that will probably go no further than words of advice being given?

He’s been charged, and considering that young children were slaughtered/attacked with knives, saying people should have their throats cut is an astonishing thing to say.

I’ll be surprised if that doesn’t get her jail time and even if it doesn’t, every background check from now on is going to bar her from a lot of jobs.

I've just read something that made me think of this woman again ☝️.

A young man called Tyler Kay, 26, has been sent to prison for 3 years and 2 months having pled guilty to publishing material intending to stir up racial hatred.

That's a pretty stiff sentence and I'm absolutely certain that Ms Connolly will be shitting herself as a result, because what he posted was a copy & paste of what she wrote.

She could try going to trial but that would risk an even longer term, should she be convicted.

Mr Kay's comeuppance is particularly satisfying since he also tweeted that he wouldn't be arrested for saying what he did - and tagged the police!

See the screenshots below to appreciate just how thick he is.
