Alltough i fully agree with innocent until proven guilty i personally don't belief he is innocent. But i'm not a court, judge or in any way or shape associated with the legal procecution process so my opinion has no influence on the outcome.

I also don't beleive he actually found god i believe it's an decoy in line with his eel behavior.

Eh?

hopefully justice will be served at some point at least it seems like they didn't do half work this time but reading some of the testimonies, ome of hi victims have been let down massively i mean assault in radio studio's cant be that nobody noticed.
I also hope he finally gets some real punishment because like i said before like an ell he will try and find ways to escape prosecution. He will probably be suddenly autistic/adhd/etc. or something.(which can be true but doesn't accuse said behavior.)

He's being prosecuted though, that's why he's in court.

The religion bit will come to the fore if he's found guilty ie 'He's a changed man, m'lud, a decent, family man...', which is fine obviously but irrelevant to offending.
I don't know enough about the court system/legal process but I'd assumed that if found guilty that would mean from the court's perspective he committed the offences. But he argued his innocence and forced his victims to go through the trauma of reliving the experience and defending themselves in court.

So with or without God or his "I'm a changed man" the lack of remorse and refusal to acknowledge his guilt should prove he's not a "changed man".

Even the people who were his friends seemed to characterise him as an aggressively sex obsessed lothario, at the time of the offences anyway.

A cursory review of any of his work would lead you to the same conclusion.
It’s interesting that no one in the comedy industry has a good word to say for him.

Do people regard his work as "comedy"? Excerpts I've seen struck me as just designed to provoke rather than amuse.

He was on the stand up circuit for years.
His later stuff was more edge lord stuff.

I hadn’t realised that Dannii Minogue is on record as early as 2006 accusing him of sexual assault.

He’s had loads of sexual complaints against him.

As news reports summarise "today's hearing" I think there is no way he's not being found guilty. But then I reflect that we are not getting the maybe important detail, not hearing possible uncertainties and not yet hearing his defence.

If it were as black & white as the impression from current press reports he'd be daft not to plead guilty, show remorse and go for a lighter sentence. So maybe he has some strong points to make when his turn comes. Or maybe he's just a fool.

I suspect his arrogance and sense of entitlement will not let him show remorse.

He always gave the impression that he thought he was a lot more clever than he actually was. I remember with distaste what a prat he and Jonathon Ross were over Andrew Sachs' granddaughter.

I think Katherine Ryan also named him as a 'predator' about 7 or 8 years ago. I'm guessing the public discussion led to women coming forward with historic incidents.

I never found him particularly funny but the stunt re Sach's granddaughter was appalling. Again, perhaps that was an indication of an arrogant sense of entitlement where he thought he could get away with anything.

Think i already over explained it really.

Yes, doesn't mean he will get punished tough.

That's why he hopped onto the conspiracy theory band wagon, and has suddenly found god, burnt bridges behind him so he had no other options.

Yes, and before that there have been attempts to take action against him by some victims but he has/had a strong legal team so that usual an effective way to keep poeple quiet. (don't think it's as effective nowadays but 10/20 years back it still was)

There's an argument made that the defendent in rape cases should be given anonymity, given how tarnished their reputation can be even when found not guilty. I think cases like Brand show why it's important that their name is made public once arrested. Many victims only come forward when they know they weren't the only one and when they feel their story will be taken seriously.

Lock him up. He’s some kind of controlled gate keeper talking rubbish on his truth show. Hiding behind religion to conceal the devil that he really is. Sold his soul.

Yeah there are for both sides to be honest, it doesn't make the headlines as much but there are also women who use rape accusations by way of extortion/currency but yes i fully agree with you there should be more ways for victims to be protected against offenders who have the ability to hire expensive laywers to bully their victims into silence and/or a other unreported side effect suicide.
The law on this part (and many other parts for that matter) has not gone with the time, for example Katie Price ex-hushband got out free a few days back, all about how evil Price would be but nothing about the very detailed victim descriptions of what happened if you read that and read about Price's alleged role then i'm having a hard time believing the dude is really innocent.
