Failing to report on news stories that other outlets were picking up isn't disagreement. A group of staff being allowed to control the narrative on how news stories were presented isn't disagreement either, it's allowing activism to override impartiality.

I'd say a trans identifying male, who competes in women's sports, writing an article for the BBC on another trans identifying male in women's sports, without declaring their vested interests is activism. If the tax payers funded broadcaster had a group of conservative leaning journalists dictating what could and could not be covered in news stories at the BBC you'd be all over it.
