A bit of inappropriate amusement whilst watching the Commonwealth track cycling earlier. The commentator on the women's sprint remarked that the one rider "likes it long and hard". Proper Colemanballs contender, fortunately it appeared to go unnoticed by the commentary team so no-one drew further attention to it. I will now send myself to the 1970s for chuckling at such a thing.

The other inappropriate "oops!" moment I remember (and am probably the only person on the planet to do so) was on the local Westcountry evening slot, when the gardening codger said about a particular plant "It goes to bed when the sun goes down... that's what I'd like to do!" and the young, blonde female host said in reply "I'd like to join you." "Oo-er, missus!", I thought at the time. But then I had been brought up on Carry On films.
