Its a crazy position this government has placed the UK energy capability into.

We have proven reserves of at least 7 years and almost the same again in contingent and prospective reserves.

Seen as maturing gas and oil reserves were known from 1990s. Why hasn't subsequent governments prepared for energy capacity and independence back then.

All very last minute, desperate situation.

Im so glad Im getting our familys energy needs dealt with now.

We are building Hinckley point C with its 2 reactors. It’s very much behind. Then Sellafield C is a carbon copy of that to be built. We’ll all be quite old when that one is complete. I can’t say if it will help with energy prices. They’ll be over budget & owned by EDF & China.
