Well, given that the two far-right parties are led by old white men, maybe we need Mrs Merton to ask the Reform and Restore voters why they prefer them to Ms Badenoch's party.

I get your point, but, between the apples and the oranges, I can find a better range of appliances, AND because there is competition, I can expect better customer service.

There is no competition with water companies though. That’s why they get singled out more than the other utilities that have been privatised. I think the others have worked OK but not water / sewerage.

Sorry, we've got discussion about this over on the Breaking News thread too. I just need to re-file Blair as an offshoot of Trumpism now, as apparently he's been given £253mn from Larry Ellison, and, coincidentally, I'm sure, is espousing all things Trump/AI etc.

I suspect that 7% of Reform's supporters have a reading age that will give rise to 7% support for Restore.

If that 7% goes to reform they will win.
Similarly the Lib Dem’s greens etc might vote Labour. It really is a 48/52 consistency, where a huge proportion of the electorate will be unhappy.
