He needs to appeal beyond the bolded segment.

The Tory line in red wall seats will be "that posh lawyer is going to steal your Brexit". How do you suggest addressing that?
Really...you think he should be grovelling for votes at this point in time ?
You don't actually think the cost of living crisis is more important than worrying about whether he's going to upset some floating voter ?
Nah not for me 🙄

Welcome yourself into the new modern crisis
That should confirm what a w@nker he is...but delight you ?

Well, I'd quite like the price cap to be an actual cap...

The use of grovelling is pejorative.

Labour, under any leader, can only form a government if it gets votes. Those need to be votes in winnable marginals, not stacking them up in (say) inner city Liverpool.

We're not forming a goverment as yet...were in the middle of a crisis where people are struggling to eat/heat etc.Next to nobody is interested in who's going to win in this or that marginal. Were more than likely heading into a winter of strikes and another recession....and what ?
Capping an allready unaffordable to many energy bill doesn't cut it.The sooner he either gets his ar$e in gear and comes up with a alternative or my choice fecks off the better.

Who is going to replace him??? Or who do you want to replace him???

and what policies do you want to see that kier isnt providing??? If not capping the energy bill, what else could he do instead of it in your eyes???

The new Tory leader who will have two years of a five year mandate left could decide an election to affirm their position is an attractive prospect. Johnson and May both did that albeit she failed miserably. If he'd not been restrained Johnson could have been in an election campaign literally now.

Labour has to be a credible alternative government capable of stepping up to the plate well before Christmas.
