What are you asking me,What I want from Labour ?
How about starting with energy nationalisation something he promised to do and was one of his pledges to win the leadership ?

How can he do that when hes not in government??......also your not happy with kier, who do you want to replace him??

The point is he stood as a candidate for the leadership on a relatively Corbynite manifesto including renationalisation.

Having taken office he's resiled from that; he won't do it if he is in government.

I'd still rather have that labour government than Truss or Sunak but I can see why those in the leftmost aisle of the broad church are up in arms.

Do you actually listen to him...

What Adam said.

i didnt listen to all what he said this morning, cause im working......but manifesto promises do change, we seen that with the torys on tax changes and NI rises.

But again, he can put anything he wants in the current manifesto, cause he aint in governmernt and until he is, theres nothing he can do about nationalising the energy sector back into public ownership

The problem with Keir Starmer is that he is in the glorious position of being able to suggest and promise anything because he is in opposition and won't have to commit to anything at all yet, he can suggest anything that he wants and have no come real chance of having to implement any of it, just a huge open goal.

Even under those conditions he has spent weeks and weeks saying absolutely nothing at all! He has missed his chance, now anything he says is seen as too little, too late. Today he is saying that the energy bill cap increase should be stopped. Seriously? Is that it when he is stood 5 feet away from a goal mouth with no goal keeper in it?

Hes been on a family holiday - MPs can have them too, not just us mere mortals.....lots of strikers miss open goals ask Halaand and he was 4ft away with no goal keeper

He and Rachel Reeves (Shadow Chancellor) have been clear that, with energy, they'd be pragmatic not idealistic. Nationalising energy would have a significant cost and would break their commitment to fiscal discipline; ie it won't happen. That is their position as of now, or rather in the circumstances prevailing in mid July.

There is a point of view that says the energy situation is so dynamic that the position may change.

The railways are pretty much nationalised already in practice, the Train Operating Companies are just managing their operation for a slice of the farebox.

Yet the TUC said nationalising the big 5 energy retailers would cost roughly 2.8 billion, strangely enough the amount this goverment spent bailing Bulb out.

So again, other than what kier is doing. which in your eyes is nothing. What would you like him to do?? and if you want him out, who would you replace him with??

Which are two of the questions i asked you earlier
