I doubt that very much.

Let's say it happens though.

Labour have had there arses handed to them regularly, the Greens have proven themselves to be petulant teenagers, the Conservatives are, well, the Conservatives and Alba will only be relevant if they can somehow reach an agreement with whoever takes over at the SNP.

If Yousaf does resign, the squabble over what happens next in Scotland will be immense and I don't think Labour has it in them to convince people (who actually have memories) that they've taken Scottish support for granted over the years.

There's an announcement from Bute House imminent, where he's expected to resign.

I hope Angus Robertson is the next leader of the party, although I haven't seen him mentioned so far.

Kate Forbes is probably the most obvious choice, but she'd have to cosy up to the Conservatives which wouldn't be popular. Hopefully it won't be John Swinney or Stephen Flynn.

This was posted to me on Sunday, having looked it up the candidate made anti Semitic comments last year.

Seems a bit late in the day for this to come to light, and I wonder how many people will actually pay attention to this and vote for them anyway...

Did seem a bit weird at first for Labour to be sending something like this out.

It was only when I looked at the small print I realised that the three promoters are the Conservative candidates.
