It's pretty much the only thing left British people can enjoy

It played out well for him last year tho’.
It does get him press coverage but does that press coverage actually get him many votes? Where he spends his press time making a bungee jump or knocking over some model wall with a joke mallet other politicians are spending their time telling us how they are going to make our lives better.

And how much of "worked last year" came from complete failure of the Conservatives and ex-Conservative voters looking for somewhere they could cast a vote. My Mum was a Terlegraph reader all her life, always voted conservative until Johnson came along when she couldn't vote Conservative but couldn't move as far as an "X" next to Labour so Lib Dem's were her only choice.

Publicity stunts are just that. While camera points at you, it has its arse pointing at the person whole is explaining their policies.
Look at what Trump has been doing in the last 100 days, everyday an outrage, it’s been relentless and we’ve all been talking about it. In the meantime he has his foot on the Democrats oxygen supply.

Given that we now know that they won't, that commitment to stunt work looks appealing.

Still works. Don't want to vote Tory fine. Don't want to vote reform because they are just Tories with hitler moustaches. Fine. Don't want to vote Labour as they have been manifestly rubbish and abandoned their core, fine.

What's left? Maybe we need a party that wants closer ties with Europe and which has never had a chance to lead and define policy.
How bad can it be?

For me the answer is Green Party. And, I now have local councillor is from Green Party, County Councillor is Green Party and MP is now Green Party. Whether that will grow of fade I have no idea. Maybe Green's will pick up votes from people who can't vote Conservative (which now includes Labour candidates), maybe Lib Dems will pick up more of that vote.

The Greens are about as economically literate at the Tangoed Tw@t in the White House.
